The Blade.

The blade, its a demon.
With its sharp knife like edge.
One slash on my wrist, and then its done and over with.
Just let the blood seep out.
Then clean up the mess.
Get rid of the pain, is that what it'll do?
Maybe make you feel stronger?
But no, the blade is a demon.
It makes you feel weak, and dead from the start.
Though you are neither, the blade will tear you apart.
Stay away from the blade, for you see.
It inhabits your body, it takes over thee.
Though you feel its much needed think of it like this.
You are strong, and brave already.
There is no need for it.
You can make it through each day.
And it will all get brighter.
Fight that demon.
Burn it with fire.
